After spending months explaining how Art, and Dance especially, could hold any credibility as a analytical creative practice across any industry and economic framework, I began to write about the value of critical thinking within an artistic framework.
I began building notebooks in 2006 as a way to map an interactive creative process. By 2011, the "living notebook" had evolved into a larger diagnostic process that kept the most human desire for connection at its center. This "White Box" was my first experiment. As a grantee and Pew Fellow, the PCAH has supported my work and that of artists who bridge art & industry in unique models.
